During the FAIRMONT BOARD OF REALTORS® monthly luncheon in September (National REALTOR® Safety Month) guest speaker and Monongalia County Sheriff, Al Kisner; led a discussion for Members and Affiliates related to REALTOR® Safety. Topics included safety steps and procedures for meeting new clients for the first time, touring vacant properties and also existing and newly initiated statutes and gun laws in the State of West Virginia, including the procedures for obtaining a concealed carry permit. Sheriff Kisner also provided attendees with a gun lock following his presentation.
